Xolo mobile launched new Omega series smartphone in India. The Omega 5.0 comes with octa core processor, HD display and Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box. Xolo had also launched another Omega series octa core powered smartphone called Omega 5.5
The Xolo Omega 5.0 sports 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi and is powered by MediaTek (MT6592m) 1.4GHz octa core processor along with Mali 450 MP GPU. It runs Android KitKat 4.4 with Hive user Interface. It will get Android 5.0 lolipop update.
The Dual SIM Omega 5.0 houses 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling. The rear camera can shoot Full HD (1080p) videos. There are 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and comes with Micro SD card slot (up to 32GB supported).
It packs with 2100 mAh non-removable battery. Additional features of Xolo Omega 5.0 are 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro USB, and Bluetooth v4.0. The handset size is 144 x 72 x 10.5 mm. It will be available soon on online and retail stores.
