Micromax has launched quad core powered handset called Canvas Xpress A99 for Rs. 6999. It will be available soon on online and retails stores. Micromax had also launched new octa core powered Canvas Nitro A311.
The Micromax Canvas Express A99 comes with 4.5 inch 854 x 480 pixels screen and runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box. It offers 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage which is expendable up to 32GB via Micro SD card.
The dual SIM smartphone is loaded with 1.3GHz quad core processor along with Mali 400 GPU. There is 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera also included. The new Micromax Canvas A99 Xpress comes with HotKnot features, It will allow to share data by touching two devices screen. The second devices should also support HotKnot to work this feature. You can tap screen to screen for sharing videos, images, music and browsing URLs.
Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro USB. The A99 packs with 1950 mAh battery that provide up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 240 hours of stand by time.
