Xiaomi Redmi 1S a low cost smarphone available in india on August 26 at Rs. 6,999.

After the super success of Mi-3 now Chinese giant smartphone manufacture company Xiaomi sent invitations for launching event of Redmi 1s in India on 26, August. yesterday Flipkart displayed Xiaomi Redmi 1s with coming soon status but after few hours Filpkart removed that. Now Xiaomi announced on their official website. Xiaomi had also announced price of Redmi 1s.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S is powered by 1.6GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. This dual SIM handset comes with  Android 4.3 jelly bean. It spots 4.7 inch 1280×720 pixel Resolution IPS display and 1GB of RAM. Handset houses 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that supports full HD recording and 1.6 megapixel front facing camera.

The phone has 8GB in-build storage space and support expendable storage up to 64GB (via Micro-SD card). Handset runs on 2000mAh Li-ion battery. It’s also support USB-OTG to use a pendrives as a storage. Other features are 3G, GPS with GLONASS, AGPS, Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n.

The Redmi 1S will be available exclusively on  most popular e-commerce site Flipkart.
