Finally, wait is over Redmi 1s officially launched in India by Xiaomi. Redmi 1s first announced in India at Rs. 6999 but now Xiaomi change his mind and now the price has been dropped to 5,999, registration is begin started on Flipkart and sales will be starting on 2nd September. The demand for Redmi 1s will be very high all because of it’s high end specification and law price tag.
Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S comes with 1.6GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. This dual SIM handset runs on Android 4.3 jelly bean. It has 4.7 inch 1280×720 pixel Resolution IPS display with 1GB of RAM. Handset houses 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that supports 1080p recording and 1.6 megapixel front facing camera for video calling.
The phone has 8GB internal storage space and support up to 64GB expendable storage (via Micro-SD card). Handset runs on 2000mAh Li-ion battery. It supports USB-OTG to use a pendrives as a storage. Other features are 3G, GPS with GLONASS, AGPS, Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n. In the part of Sensors Xiaomi provides Gyroscope, Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Electronic Compass with this smartphone.
