Philips has launched new phone called Xenium X2566, priced at Rs. 3800 (MRP Rs. 5,537). The Philips Xenium X2566 is specially designed for Senior Citizens. It comes with Large buttons, big fonts for easy reading. It supports Dedicated SOS button for emergency calling that’s allows to set maximum of three different numbers. When press the SOS button, the phone will automatically connect to these three numbers until call gets answered by any of three numbers.
The phone comes with Dual SIM support. It sports 2.4 inch 320 x 240 pixels TFT display. There is VGA rear camera. It comes with magnifier to enlarge the words. Philips offers 16GB of internal storage space with Xenium X2566. Its also support external storage (via Micro SD card).
A 1630 Li-ion mAh battery is included that provide up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 1128 hours long stand by time. Other features are dual SIM, EDGE/GPRS, bluetooth, FM Radio, Torch, and Mini-USB. The handset dimension is 124.5 x 64.9 x 16 mm and weight is 108.8 grams. The Philips Xenium X2566 is available in blue colour option.
