Motorola has launched Its new smartphone. The Motorola Droid Turbo will be available from 30th October on online and retail stores in US market. The handset has been priced at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 12,250) for 32GB version and 2 year subscription, $249.99 (approx. 15,300) for 64GB version and 2 year subscription.
The Motorola Droid Turbo features 5.2 inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display that provide pixel density of 565ppi. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset comes in two (32GB and 64GB) versions. It will be available with Metallic Black, Metallic Red, and Black Ballistic Nylon colour options.
The Droid Turbo sports 21 megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with dual LED flash, other side it has 2 megapixel front camera also on board. The rear camera features 4X digital zoom, Slow motion video, burst mode, Auto HDR, Tap to focus and Panorama.
New water resistant smartphone from Motorola runs Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box and comes with 4G LTE support. It is powered by 2.7GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 420 GPU. The handset packs with 3900 mAh non removable Li-po battery which can deliver up to 48 hours of Mixed-usage time. It supports wireless charging and comes with Motorola turbo charger.
Other features are 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro USB, WiFi, NFC, and 3.5 mm audio jack. In the part of sensors the Motorola Droid Turbo offers Gyroscope, Hall Effect, infrared, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, and Proximity Sensors. It measure 143.5 x 73.3 x 10.6 mm and weight is 169 grams (for Metallic Red and Metallic Black variant), 134.5 x 73.3 x 11.2 mm and weight is 176 grams (for Black Ballistic Nylon variant).
