Lava International has launched its new quad core powered handset in India called Iris X1 Atom, priced at Rs. 4444. It will available from next week with White, Black Silver, and Black Gold colour options.
The Lava Iris X1 atom featuring 4 inch 800 x 480 pixel IPS display and runs Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box. The company has promised Iris X1 Atom will get Android Lolipop 5.0 upgrade pretty soon. There is 4GB internal storage space which can expand up to 32GB via Micro SD card.
The dual SIM handset comes loaded with 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with 5 megapixel back camera with LED flash support. VGA front facing camera also onboard. The rear camera can shoot HD (1280 x 720 pixels) videos.
Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro USB. The Lava Iris X1 Atom can play Full HD videos. It packs with 1750 mAh removable battery.
