Lava Iris 500 with Android KitKat and 5 inch display launched at Rs. 5499

Last month Lava launched Iris Fuel 50 and now Lava mobiles has launched new Android KitKat based smartphone in their Iris Series called Lava Iris 500 , priced at Rs, 5499. The handset is listed on company’s website and will be available soon on online and retail stores.

The Lava Iris 500 runs Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box and comes with dual SIM support. There is 5 megapixel Fixed Focus rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera also on board. The rear camera supports 720p (HD) video recording. Other camera features are HDR mode, Panaroma Mode, and Burst Mode.

The handset sports 5 inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM. It offers 4GB of internal storage with support of external storage up to 32GB (via Micro SD card).

A 1800 mAh Li-lon battery is also back side on Lava Iris 500. In the part of connectivity the smartphone included 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Micro USB v2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The Iris 500 does not support 3G. The handset comes with Accelerometer, Proximity, and ALS sensors. It will available in White, Black, Midnight Blue, and Imperial Red colour options.
