Intel unveils 8-core Haswell-E (i7-5960X) Desktop processor

Intel corporation has launched its first eight core desktop processor called Intel i7-5960X, formerly code-named “Haswell-E”. targeted users who demand very high from their PCs. Intel Core i7-5960X processor Extreme Edition supporting new DDR4 RAM, gigabit LAN, up to 10 SATA 3.0 ports, up to 14 USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports and up to 40 PCI Express lanes. It has 20MB of cache memory and provides 3GHZ clock frequency that can be boost up to 3.5GHZ in turbo mode.
