HTC Launched two new Desire series smartphone at its India Double Exposure Event. The HTC Desire 820 priced at Rs. 24,990 and HTC 820q priced at Rs. 22,500. Company’s says both Desire 820 and Desire 820q will be available on online and offline stores from 4th november. HTC also launched Desire 516C CDMA smartphone in India at Rs. 12,990.
HTC Desire 820, priced at Rs. 24,990
The Desire 820 runs Android KitKat with Sense UI and is powered by 64 bit qualcomm snapdragon 615 octa core processor(1.5GHZ quad core + 1GHz quad core). The handset featuring 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 pixels display.
The dual SIM Desire 820 support 4G LTE connectivity. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space with up to 128GB external storage support (via Micro SD card). There is 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, 8 megapixel front facing camera also on board.
The handset offers 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS and bluetooth. It packs with 2600 mAh battery which can provide up to 22 hours of talk time and up to 424 hours of stand by time on 3G network. It measures 157.7 x 78.74 x 7.74 mm and weight is 155 grams.
HTC Desire 820q, priced at Rs. 22,500
The Desire 820q is a lower version of Desire 820. The 820q offers 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 pixel screen and comes with a 64bit qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. The storage capacity are also same on both 820 and 820q. There is 16GB inbuilt storage with Micro SD card support.
The 820q runs Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box. It houses 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapxiel front camera. It has 1GB of RAM. The handset packs with 2600 mAh battery. Other features are dual SIM, 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS, and bluetooth. Both devices will be available from next month.
