40,000 Xiaomi Redmi 1S put on sale on 2nd September

Chinese Smartphone Maker Xiaomi is ready to sale their new entry level smartphone Redmi 1s in India. The handset will exclusively available on most popular e-commerce site Flipkart, sale will be starting on 2nd September. Xiaomi said on their Twitter page there will  40,000 Redmi 1S for sale on 2nd September. Recently Xiaomi sold 95,000 Mi3 units in India and now it’s time for Redmi 1s. Demand for Redmi1 will be much higher then Mi3 because of It’s high end specification and priced at Rs. 5,999. It will be out of stock within few seconds.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S is powered by 1.6GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. This dual SIM handset comes with  Android 4.3 jelly bean. It spots 4.7 inch 1280×720 pixel Resolution IPS display and 1GB of RAM. Handset houses 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that supports full HD recording and 1.6 megapixel front facing camera.

The phone has 8GB in-build storage space and support expendable storage up to 64GB (via Micro-SD card). Handset runs on 2000mAh Li-ion battery. It’s also support USB-OTG to use a pendrives as a storage. Other features are 3G, GPS with GLONASS, AGPS, Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi .
